How to study the Bible

By Web Team | Learn

If studying the Bible is the path to knowing God, then before anything else, we need to know how to study this Bible.

First, make the Bible part of your daily routine. If you don’t already read your Bible daily, find a way to make it part of your day.

Tie it to something you already do regularly—for example, read the Bible first thing when you get up in the morning, on your lunch break, or after dinner.

Second, Read it in community. The church is how God set it up for us to seek Him and grow in our faith through community.

So, join or start a Bible study group in your church, school, or community.

Third, Write things down. A good way to start is to mark every reference to God in a passage, then write down what you learn about God’s character from you marked.

Then, pray those truths back to Him. Let your study turn into prayer and worship
