After you have taken time to understand the context, looked at the articles and notes, and have come to a good understanding of the verses you are studying, it’s time for application.
Application just means taking what the verses are saying and applying it to our lives.
Start by thinking about situations in your own life that resemble the circumstances described in the verses. If nothing comes to mind, imagine a set of circumstances that present similar challenges, make you feel similar emotions, and could lead to a similar outcome.
It might help to consider where, when, or why something like the situation in the verses might happen or how it could relate to problems involving your friends, faith, or future.
After you have thought through ways to apply the verses to your life, set steps to help take action on what you have read.
